We had an amazing time exploring the island cuisine on a culinary experience. We stuffed our faces with delicious local dishes and learned all about the flavors and spices of Sri Lanka. And let me tell you, it was absolutely mind-blowing! We also had a wicked daily jeep safari to Yala National Park. We went on the hunt for leopards and other cool animals and it was like being in a real-life adventure movie. Seriously, it was the best fun ever!

The only thing we would have loved to have at the hotel is a banging party scene for young people like us. We were in the mood to dance our hearts out and let loose, but there weren't any organized parties or events for young party-goers.

Outstanding staff, delicious meals, perfect location by the beach, romantic atmosphere, well-maintained property, comfortable rooms.

I recently stayed at Taru Villas - Rock Villa for a week-long vacation. The hotel's traditional Sri Lankan buildings set in beautifully manicured grounds created a serene and exclusive ambiance. The staff were top-notch, striking the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. The beach, just a short walk away, was pristine with private loungers and excellent service. The highlight of my stay was the incredible food, with a variety of delicious options including homemade pasta, Sri Lankan feasts, and mouthwatering seafood. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness made my stay super comfortable.

The rooms at this hotel were spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. the location was also great, with easy access to a beautiful beach and stunning views.

I found the prices at the hotel to be quite expensive, especially for the food and beverages. there were some issues with cleanliness, particularly in the common areas.

This hotel is a luxurious haven that provided us with exclusive amenities. the service was impeccable, the swimming pool was stunning, and the beach access was convenient. the Spa & wellness centre was top-notch, offering various massages such as full body, foot, back, and head massages, and the Spa lounge was a great place to relax. the restaurant served remarkable dishes, including special diet menus, and the outdoor dining area was perfect for dinner.

The only minor issue we had with this hotel was the size of the bathroom, which was a bit small compared to the otherwise spacious room. this was a minor inconvenience, and did not impact our overall stay.

Nestled in luscious green gardens only moments away from the ocean, this boutique hotel is a dreamlike location for relaxation. Immaculate, spacious rooms outfitted with exceptional furnishings and a stunning bathroom left us feeling pampered and comfortable. the staff was attentive and helpful, ensuring every need was anticipated. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. the private pool, veranda, and sun loungers were perfect for relaxing, and the location only 2 minutes from the beach meant easy access to sun, sand.

Although there's very little to criticize, one negative aspect was the cost of meals which is similar to other high-end hotels.

The hotel had a nice swimming pool and a great beach nearby. The room service was impressive. The Bed was big and comfortable. It was great for a relaxing new year's holiday.

The food was unsatisfactory and overpriced. The shower had a few problems and needed maintenance.

Additionally, the hotel's location directly behind the beach was very convenient for us. The breakfast served was delicious and exceeded our expectations.

We spent our Easter holiday at a hotel by the beach. the two things we liked the most were the spacious rooms and the beautifully tended gardens. the key location fact was that it was located near the train tracks, but it did not bother us much.

We were very disappointed with the food. the limited menu options were not individually cooked, nor were they very tasty.

The staff's knowledge is impressive, between the surreal experiences outside and the beautiful nature surrounding the property. The restaurant serves delicious global and local cuisine. The villa itself is a colonial paradise with a stunning architecture and a direct access to a golden beach.

What a shame I had to leave this secluded tropical heaven!

This hotel is an absolute game-changer! The bed was unbelievably cozy and the complimentary upgrade to a luxurious suite left us speechless. Every little detail, down to the amazing shampoo and conditioner, was mind-blowing. The staff were so attentive yet discreet, and we were blown away by the homemade popsicles at the beachfront after our beach walk. The food was beyond delicious, and the nighttime ambiance was jaw-droppingly beautiful. They even surprised me with a free birthday cake! The setting was idyllic, and crossing over the railway line to the beach was actually quite pleasant. The train passing by and the temple's call to prayer only added to the charm. Not to mention, the staff went above and beyond by ensuring we had everything we needed, even after we checked out. We cannot wait to return and give a massive shoutout to Anjana for making my birthday unforgettable.

The food was off the charts and we even took a culinary class to learn how to make some bomb Sri Lankan dishes. And let me tell you, those jeep safaris at Yala National Park were lit! We were on the hunt for leopards and it was like being in our own action movie. Best vacation ever!
